Health and Wellness Disclaimer

Last updated: October 2026

Vybe helps you understand your sleep, activity, recovery, and everyday wellbeing. It is a general wellness product. This disclaimer is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Not a medical device

Vybe devices, the Vybe app, and Vybe Intelligence are intended for general wellness and fitness purposes only. Unless we expressly state that a specific feature has been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Vybe is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, monitor, or prevent any disease or condition.

2. Readings are estimates

Measurements such as heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, skin temperature, breathing rate, stress, sleep stages, activity, and any blood pressure, glucose, hemoglobin, or ECG-style readings are wellness estimates. They are not clinical measurements and may differ from medical equipment. Accuracy can be affected by fit, skin tone, tattoos, movement, temperature, hydration, device placement, and other factors. Do not use Vybe readings in place of a blood pressure cuff, glucose meter, pulse oximeter, ECG, or any other medical device or test.

3. Not medical advice

Scores, insights, suggestions, and content from Vybe, including content generated by Vybe Intelligence, are for information only. They are not medical advice and do not create a doctor and patient relationship. Always talk with a qualified health care professional about any medical condition, symptom, medication, diet, or exercise program. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you saw in Vybe.

4. Emergencies

Vybe does not monitor you for emergencies and cannot call for help. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number right away.

5. Talk to your doctor first if

  • You are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have any chronic medical condition.

  • You have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or other implanted electronic device.

  • You plan to change your training, diet, sleep, or medication based on what you see in Vybe.

6. Physical activity

Exercise and changes to your routine carry risk of injury. You are responsible for choosing activity that is safe for you, and you take part at your own risk.

7. Skin and device care

Some people may experience skin irritation from wearing any device. Keep the device and your skin clean and dry, wear it snug but comfortable, and take it off and consult a professional if irritation persists.

8. Research and organization programs

Insights shared with coaches, teams, employers, universities, or researchers are wellness information. They are not intended for medical, employment, insurance, or eligibility decisions about any individual.
